NCLEX Management of Care practice questions
Management of Care tests how you run a shift safely: prioritising several clients, assigning and delegating to the right team member, advocacy, informed consent, confidentiality, ethics and escalation. Questions usually give you a census board or a handoff and ask who to see first or what you can delegate.

Key points to know
- Prioritise by instability and trends, not by diagnosis: a rising heart rate in a bleeding client beats a stable fever.
- Delegate standard, unchanging tasks for stable clients. Assessment, teaching, evaluation and unstable clients stay with the RN.
- A client with decision-making capacity can refuse care or leave; your job is to inform, advocate and document.
